We are looking for an experienced individual to manage

Principal
Transport Modeller – Woking
Are you constrained by your current opportunities to tackle larger
and more complex models or to use a wider range of the latest software
and techniques? We are looking for experienced multi-modal
transport modellers who can manage some of our expanding modelling
portfolio which is helping assess critical public transport schemes
in the major UK cities.
We are particularly interested in
public transport modellers with experience of EMME/2 or Cube/Trips
to join our established modelling team in Woking. Alternatively,
you may be attracted by the challenge of getting in at the start
of a new modelling team in our Birmingham office and helping to
develop and grow the business. In
either case, you will also be joining our widespread modelling fraternity
that extends across all of our offices in UK, France and Dubai. This
will provide you with opportunities to contribute to a large number
of projects across a wide range of clients and locations. And
help us further develop our business in this key area. We will
provide any additional training needed and further develop your project
management skills to help you advance your career within MVA.

Principal Transport Planner
- Woking
We have a large number of public sector clients who need the help
and advice of a well-rounded transport planner. It would be
someone who understands the policy background and issues and at the
same time knows about the possible and appropriate solutions, and
ways to achieve a successful outcome. Probably someone who
has helped develop and write an LTP. Possibly it is someone
who is working in local government or for a large consultancy within
a framework contract. If this is you, we can expand your horizons
and provide opportunities to contribute to a large number of projects
at a senior level across a wide range of clients and locations. You
would join a policy orientated team with direct access to a wide
range of expertise across all facets of transport. You would
also help us develop our business in this area. We will provide

This role will support the Director Development Planning in expanding
MVA Consultancy’s
business in development planning. This will involve engaging with
existing and potential clients, undertaking projects, preparing proposals
and supervising work carried out by project team members.

We are looking for dynamic and experienced people to advise our large

Senior Traffic
Engineer - Woking
Are you flexible in your approach, keen to explore new ideas and
interested in stretching yourself? We’re looking for
that sort of transport engineer – someone who is in the early
stages of their career and is prepared to apply their skills to our
wide variety of transport-related projects.
Knowledge of scheme
design will be an advantage to assist our growing development planning
sector as will transport assessment techniques. We
won’t ‘pigeon-hole’ you though, and will encourage
you to sample project work from scheme design, through modelling,
to travel awareness initiatives and all points in between! We’ll
make sure you have any training needed whether on-the-job or through
courses and help you develop project management skills to take your
career forward.
