Accessibility Planning provides the framework for transport authorities and other agencies to work together to resolve accessibility problems. It was incorporated into all local authority 2nd Local Transport Plans (LTP) in 2005.

The tools and techniques needed to measure accessibility are now seen as essential components of transport planning. We have developed accession software on behalf of the DfT for use nationally in Accessibility Planning initiatives, as well as providing training in its use and seminars for managers on accessibility planning. Our transport and traffic specialists are also assisting clients with their accession data requirements, helping them undertake Accessibility Audits and recommending initiatives to improve accessibility.
