MVA is
pleased to announce the expansion of its Rail Consultancy Division
and in particular the appointment of two new directors: Duncan Cross,
Director Rail Operations and James Vickers, Director Rail Business
Planning. They will work alongside John Segal, who has been leading
our rail work for the last six years.
Duncan
has over 16 years' railway operations experience, ranging from direct
management of staff to the commercial management and contract negotiation
of freight haulage contracts. He was pr
eviously
Professional Head of Operations at Mainline Freight and Commercial
Director at GB Railfreight. More recently, he has worked on a wide
range of passenger operations projects in the UK and overseas.
James
has 10 years' experience as a senior manager and negotiator in the
franchised rail industry. His negotiating skills were proven during
the successful completion of complex franchise deals for the SRA
and his project management and change management ability has been
put to good effect in industry and organisation restructurings.
