Assessment of School Bus Pick Up Points

<< Go Back

MVA has been appointed by West Dunbartonshire Council to undertake research into the suitability of rural school bus pick up points. Within West Dunbartonshire, there are more than 100 pick-up points where buses stop to uplift school pupils. These range from public bus stops to rural road side locations.

MVA's research will consider policy issues and experience elsewhere in the UK and abroad drawing on safer routes to schools experience and related topics. The output from the research will include a check-list for undertaking assessments of existing sites.
