Mayfair and Belgravia Redevelopment Advice
Grosvenor Investments Limited


MVA Consultancy has been commissioned until December 2007 to work with Building Design Partnership and offer property developer Grosvenor advice on transport and access for redevelopment and public realm proposals in Mayfair and Belgravia.



Update of model/economics for Luton Dunstable Busway Scheme
Luton Borough Council


MVA Consultancy is carrying out a major modelling and economic appraisal updating exercise for the £80m Luton Dunstable Busway scheme, which aims to be the backbone of a high quality network express bus services.

MVA Consultancy were engaged by North Hertfordshire District Council to develop a parking strategy for the market town of Royston in Hertfordshire.
The strategy will be completed by the end of October.

MVA has been commissioned to conduct primary research in four local authorities in Wales with the aim being to improve evidence-based decision making in the local government community.
This research will run until November 2007.

Transportation Study for an EIS
Dublin Docklands Development Agency

MVA Consultancy has been asked by Dublin Docklands Development Authority to undertake a study to determine the capacity of the local and strategic transport networks to safely accommodate the travel demands generated by the increased scale of development planned within the North Lotts Area. The work will run until Jan 2008.

 

MVA has been appointed by the Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership (HITRANS) – which  covers Argyll and Bute, the Scottish Highlands, Moray, the Western Isles and Orkney - to analyse transport routes and identify future potential problem areas.
MVA is also drafting a Public Transport Information Strategy and a model Quality Partnership document.
Work is expected to be completed in December 2007.

Railplan is a critical tool in the TfL suite of forecasting models used to forecast travel demand in London. MVA is bidding for projects related to transport planning and assessment studies, model updating/consolidation, reporting and interpreting Railplan forecasts, and investigating modelling and appraisal issues. Work will continue until June 2009.

 

St Mary's Hospital Portsmouth West Wing
Terence O'Rourke Plc

MVA is to undertake an initial transport study for the redevelopment of the West Wing of St Mary's Hospital on behalf of Terence O’Rourke PLC, Portsmouth as it has become surplus to requirements.
