MVA Consultancy appoints new head of Dubai office

James Hakam DibLeading transport planning specialist MVA Consultancy has appointed James Hakam Dib, P.E. as general manager of its Dubai office.

An experienced senior manager and registered professional engineer, James’s career spans more than two decades.

His expertise covers all aspects of traffic engineering, transportation planning, roadway and highway engineering design, infrastructure and site design, access management, traffic calming, and value engineering across both public and private sectors.

James was responsible for the financial and technical management of Wilbur Smith Associates’ Middle East operation, with specialist knowledge and an enviable track record of establishing branch offices, preparing and implementing annual business plans, identifying and developing new business opportunities and the managing of ongoing projects.

He played an instrumental role in establishing and implementing aspects of public financed projects in Al Ain, including traffic engineering, urban planning, detailed design and construction supervision of upgrading the traffic movement and intersections in the central area.

James joins MVA Consultancy’s Dubai office which has a prestigious client base including the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Nakheel, Limitless, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai Investments Park, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Office.

As key players in the success of flagship projects including the Dubai Metro, Palm Jumeirah, Palm Deira, the Arabian Canal, International City, MVA is now working on major projects in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.

As general manager of MVA’s Dubai office, James will be primarily focusing on managing and growing MVA’s business in this challenging area.
