TACTRAN commission travel information strategy

<< Go Back

MVA Consultancy has been commissioned by the Tayside and Central Scotland Transport Partnership (TACTRAN) to produce a travel information strategy for the area.

The aim of the work is to create a consistent level of transport information provision across the Angus, Dundee City, Perth and Kinross and Stirling local authority areas covered by the statutory body.

Key focuses include a baseline review, stakeholder consultation and the development of a separate bus and all-transport information strategy.

Project Director Neill Birch said: “Delivering high quality transport in the TACTRAN area is about so much more than better buses or enhanced infrastructure. We are delighted to be helping TACTRAN identify the role that information can play in providing seamless travel - helping residents and visitors find the optimum and most sustainable way from place to place.”
