Bristol Area Capacity Study

In association with VST Comreco, we were awarded a contract to assess the current utilisation of the rail network in the Bristol area and test the capacity against possible future service patterns. The work also addressed the issue of relieving a potential capacity constraint by shared running on the proposed Bristol Light Rail System LRT tracks. The rail infrastructure in the Bristol areas is believed to be working at or near full capacity, with demand expected to increase.
