Clydebank Transport Interchange Study

We led a team of architects, landscape consultants, planners and retail consultants in a study to develop a new public transport interchange linking Clydebank rail and bus stations more effectively whilst providing for increased town centre commercial activity. In addition, the study ensured appropriate servicing and pedestrian access routes were maintained. The study involved use of a VISSIM micro-simulation model of Clydebank to assess revisions to traffic management and bus circulation in Clydebank town centre. Consultation with public transport providers, business leaders and local community groups was a focus of the study.
