For the Department for Transport, we reviewed existing
and planned rapid transit schemes where cyclists and rapid transit
vehicles
share
road
space
to identify good practice in cycling and rapid transit provision.
Interview surveys were carried out with both cyclists and rapid transit
users to determine how the potential for combined trips can most
effectively be harnessed.
