For a private bidder we conducted a review of another consultant’s demand and revenue forecasts for the Leeds Supertram scheme. The project examined reformulation and calibration of mode choice models, disaggregation of demand into different passenger fare groups, growth factors, the competitive position of Supertram in relation to travel by bus and general travel cost forecasting assumptions. The work also included a full audit of the base highway and public transport networks and examined future year forecasting assumptions.
