Forecasting Park and Ride Patronage for Leicester

We revalidated the Central Leicestershire Transport
Model with a view to developing park and ride forecasts for a number
of scheme options. This included improving the base modelling for
both highway and public transport in the area of the proposed schemes,
and improvements in the matrices. An improved method for forecasting
future demand levels was developed, and park and ride patronage and
revenue forecasts were produced. Finally an economic analysis of
the park and ride scheme options was carried out.
