Rail Freight & Operational Needs of Northampton

We led Stage 1 of this study, to assess the rail freight needs of the Northampton area and the associated operational railway needs. In particular, the project considered the Castle Yard site, adjacent to the rail station, and identified potential sites for the relocation of activities from this site, in order to facilitate regeneration of the wider area. The project included consultation with a wide range of stakeholders within and connected with the rail freight industry.
