Ring Road Major Integrated Transport Scheme

The aim of our study was to refine proposals for bus priority measure (including sections of kerb guided bus) along Nottingham's ring road. The Nottingham Multi-Modal Transport Model was used to test options leading to the specification of a preferred scheme and a best low cost alternative. The Nottingham Multi-Modal Transport Model includes SATURN highway and TRIPS public transport assignment modules. The principal output of the study was a Draft Annex E submission incorporating analyses of the scheme including transport, economic and environmental impacts.
