Road user behaviour at toucan crossings

We were commissioned by the Transport Research
Laboratory to analyse videos showing approximately 7500 crossings
at six Toucans by pedestrians and cyclists. Analysis consisted of
creating a data record for each crossing by answering questions such
as whether the button was pushed, whether there were any conflicts
between pedestrians and cyclists, and delay encountered. The project
made use of our video analysis software.
