We use deliberative and eliciting techniques to involve
citizens in deep and informed discussion to help solve policy and
social issues. We present participants with facts and evidence in
support of or against a particular issue. They are asked to weigh
the evidence and may be given the opportunity to cross-examine witnesses.
They also enable service users to sift and weigh evidence, draw their
own conclusions and comment on their experience of service provision.
