We created a comprehensive properties database for BAA to record and monitor damage or nuisance to buildings and residents from aircraft noise. The AIRVIRON systems have been deployed at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports, and enable BAA to monitor the impact of noise and compliance of aircraft with flight plans. The applications include a GIS mapping system to locate, visualise and analyse noise impacts.
